Abstract:To improve harmonic compensation performance and increase the capacity of active power filter (APF), the LCL-filter is used as an output filter for APF. The space voltage vector model of three-phase shunt active power filter is built. The range of the output filter inductance meeting the performance of fast-track harmonic current is proposed. The influence of element parameters on the filtering performance of LCL-filter is analyzed. The design method of LCL-filter is proposed and a practical design example of APF is given. Finally, the simulation and experimental verify the validity of the proposed method.
