Abstract：In the current power system of China, TASE.2 is mainly used between higher and lower control centers for exchanging real data. Generally, only conformance block 1 and 2 are used. But in the power system of foreign countries, TASE.2 is more used in different applications of a power enterprise. Remote control may be operated on an application(such as geographical information system) and be completed by another application(such as EMS/SCADA ). This will be based on conformance 5. This paper describes a feasible method to realize remote control by TASE.2.
