Abstract:For Switched Reluctance Motor using traditional control methods existing disadvantages of large torque ripple and poor speed control performance, this paper describes a new approach of combining direct instantaneous torque control(DITC) with fuzzy adaptive PID controller. Closed loop control of instantaneous torque is used to restrain torque ripple and fuzzy theory is used to adjust PID parameters online according to the motor’s running condition to improve the system’s speed control performance. The simulation result shows that the inhibitory effect of direct instantaneous torque control method on torque ripple is superior to traditional PWM control and direct torque control, and the introduction of fuzzy adaptive PID controller can enable the speed control system to have advantages of small overshoot, short speed recovery time and strong robustness.
