Abstract:The common integrated traction substation automation system can not satisfy the needs of high-precision real-time load recording, an implementation scenario based on IEC 60870-5-103 protocol extension is introduced by this article. Also the key processes of the scenario, such as real-time transmission of telemeter with accurate time, data sample & dynamic compression, and data storage mode in station control layer are illuminated. The implementation scenario has been successfully applied to several traction substation automation systems and proved to be feasible and highly effective.
