Abstract:To solve the deficiency of difficult to track the maximum power point under different working conditions and high torque ripple of permanent magnet synchronous motors in the photovoltaic pump system, a novel direct torque control for permanent magnet synchronous motors based on fuzzy logic control is proposed. To begin with the structure and mathematical model of PV system and PMSM, the direct torque control based on space vector modulation is proposed and implementation method of tracking the maximum power point. Finally, modeling and simulation are carried out by taking the software of Matlab/Simulink as platform. Simulation results show that, speed characteristic can be improved and torque ripples can be diminished significantly by the proposed method for PV pump systems, so the proposed method has a good dynamic and static performance.
