Abstract:With the diversification of network equipment, power quality problems of the electric power system gradually emerged. The power quality problem is covered extensively, which involves both the qualified rate of the voltage and the harmonic content. In this paper, the design of the power quality control device based on active power filter and thyristor control is proposed, and the hardware circuit and control strategy are presented. Test results show that the method proposed in this paper is effective in restraining the effect of nonlinear load in power network.
