Abstract:The conventional voltage sag detection method based on the αβ-dq transformation needs to use the PLL (phase lock loop), but the PLL is easily affected by voltage fluctuation, voltage distortion and other factors, and is also difficult to debug. The phase which is obtained from the method of presetting the frequency of the αβ-dq matrix changes with the time when removing the PPL. For this problem, the method of voltage sag detection based on no PLL αβ-dq transformation with frequency correcting is put forward. With the method, we can acquire the fundamental frequency of the current voltage through the change of phase value during the process of the αβ-dq transformation, making the phase of the voltage can be detected accurately by the method based on αβ-dq transformation without PPL when the frequency of the power grid fluctuating. Finally the presented method applied in voltage sag detection is simulated by Matlab/Simulink software, the simulation results verify the correctness and validity of the method.
