Abstract:Insulation reduction is the main reason for the failure of the gas insulated switchgear. The insulation status of equipment can be controlled effectively by the GIS partial discharge on-line detection. In this paper, the principle of detection method of SF6 gas decomposition components is analyzed, and the experimental platform is built to simulate several typical insulation failures, and the corresponding detection spectrum is obtained. Through the analysis of the spectrum, the characteristics of the method are summarized, which provide a reference for the study of the fault type of the partial discharge in GIS.
