Study on the Optimal Allocation of Output Transmission Capacity and Energy Storage Capacity of Wind Farm based on CVaR

Abstract:Large scale wind power development helps to alleviate the shortage of energy, however, the wind power output fluctuation is large and its energy density is low. In the planning of outlet capacity of wind power generation, the influence of wind power on the whole wave characteristics must be considered. In this paper, in order to stabilize the wind power as the goal, based on the principle of low pass filter, and the use of storage allocation wind power output power, at a certain confidence level, the allocation based on CVaR of wind farm group transmission capacity and storage capacity are optimized. The example shows that the proposed model can not only reduce the transmission capacity of the investment, and decision makers can be based on the abandoned wind power and punishment quantity of selecting reasonable levels of confidence, and optimize the allocation of the output transmission capacity and storage capacity.
