Abstract:A two-stage DC/DC topology which consists of Boost and a new four transformer primary series secondary paralleled LLC resonant converter is designed. The topology is designed to meet the demand of DC power converters with wide-range input, high-current output and high power density. The four transformer primary series secondary paralleled are used in the second stage LLC, the turn ratio, the stress of voltage and current of single transformer are all decreased. Moreover, this circuit have a good current sharing characteristic and high efficiency. The equivalent model and the gain characteristic of the secondary LLC resonant converter are derived from the fundamental harmonic approximation, and the parameter of Boost and LLC are optimized. Simultaneously, the output current sharing is analyzed even with mismatched parameter. Finally, the correctness and feasibility of the theory are validated by Saber simulation results.
