Abstract：Since high level TEV signal have been detected in various locations in a 35kV substation, we carried out PD detection, recognition and orientation experiment in the substation. First, according the UHF, ultrasonic and high frequency current probes' measurement, we judged that it's floating discharge. Then, according the orientation process, we found the location of the PD source.
