Abstract：The deep-well type and vertical type of DC earthing electrode are worth for application and dissemination because they need small land occupation. Since the structure is different from that of horizontal earthing electrode, it requires a different mode on current guiding. In this paper, the current guiding modes for deep-well and vertical earthing electrode are introduced respectively, as well as their application conditions, which provides a specific reference for the future construction of DC earthing electrodes.
