Abstract:Facing the complex topographic structure of rural power grids, the equipment safety of transmission and distribution lines has long been threatened by the natural environment. Man-made damage and aging of equipment have also led to serious leakage problems in rural power transmission lines. At present, the insurance coverage rate of rural residual current protection is low, and the traditional residual current protection device cannot inform the maintenance and repair personnel in time after the tripping action, which brings trouble to the residents' electricity use, and also brings hidden dangers to the villagers' personal safety. This paper describes the application and solution of the “State Grid Chip” intelligent residual current monitoring device to this problem, and demonstrates the necessity and importance of installing the device in the rural power grid.
