Abstract:The deadman function is the last layer of protection for the driver to automatically trigger emergency braking when the driver has an accident during driving. It is generally set to a fixed button trigger at a fixed-time. In order to adapt to the complex operating environment of modern tram vehicles, from the perspective of safety, the convenience of use and design humanity, combined with the metro vehicle deadman logic, a multi-trigger approach and a multi-segment time control deadman function scheme have been proposed. The scheme has been used in batches on modern trams with good response.
