A droop control strategy of voltage drop compensation

Abstract:In the application of traditional droop control algorithm, DC bus voltage will produce voltage drop loss, which can not be used in the field of precise control of voltage output. In this paper, the current sharing control principle of traditional droop algorithm and the cause of voltage drop are analyzed. An adaptive voltage drop compensation control strategy is proposed to compensate and modify the DC bus voltage drop. Based on the experimental platform of hydrogen fuel DC parallel module power supply of electric vehicle, the strategy is verified. The results show that the proposed strategy can keep good current sharing characteristics, and make the DC bus voltage fast and accurately track the given, achieve better control effect, and have higher application value.
