Abstract:Grids have generally suffered from excessively high grid load rates and large differences in peak-to-valley grids. With the continuous access of new energy sources such as wind power and photovoltaic, the volatility of its output has made the problem of peak shaving of the power grid more severe. Energy storage can play a key role in mitigating heavy loads, cutting peaks and filling valleys, promoting new energy consumption, and improving power supply reliability due to its advantages of rapid response and two-way regulation. This paper proposes a storage capacity configuration method for substation load reduction and peak shaving for the power grid side; for the new energy side, a storage capacity configuration method for suppressing fluctuations in new energy; for the user side, this paper proposes Energy storage capacity configuration method for improving power supply reliability.
