Abstract:The distribution transformer area is the key to connect the distribution grid with power users. The construction of smart grid needs to promote the data acquisition of low-voltage distribution transformer area. In order to solve the problems such as the wide range of distribution transformer area, the huge number of terminals, and the communication difficulties, a scheme of low-voltage distribution transformer area data acquisition based on the Internet of things platform is proposed. This paper describes several key technologies of the proposed scheme, including the overall architecture, edge computing intelligent terminal, message queuing telemetry transport (MQTT) communication protocol, typical communication process, unified model and the interface between the distribution management system and the Internet of Things platform. In the scheme, the edge computing intelligent transformer terminal unit (TTU) is the gateway, which is connected with intelligent meter, reactive power compensation device and various sensors in the distribution transformer area through power line communication (PLC), short-range wireless communication, infrared communication, radio frequency and other communication methods. Based on the Internet of things platform, the data of terminal equipment in the distribution transformer area can be flexibly accessed in real time.
