Research on visualized anti-accident inference system for ultra high voltage DC converter station based on PSCAD model

Abstract:In order to improve the DC control and protection performance, ensure the safe operation of large power grid, enable the dispatching, operation and maintenance personnel to carry out anti-accident exercises, and further improve their on-site accident emergency disposal ability, this paper establishes the PSCAD model of ultra high voltage (UHV) DC converter station, studies the interaction technology between the model engine and substation simulation system, and applies the on-site operator work station (OWS) system to the simulation system. The results show that by establishing the PSCAD model and analyzing the simulation system, the functions of fault simulation, recording playback and automatic analysis of the DC converter station equipment are further realized.
