Abstract：In electric power dispatching automation master station system, voice alarm is one of the basic essential functions of the system. It can notifiy dispathers of accidents in the power grid through playing alarm bells or reading fault events. This paper introduces a distributed voice alarm system based on TTS, describes the design and implementation method.The distributed voice alarm system has been used in multiple power supply bureau. The effect of application shows that, compared with the traditional voice alarm systems, it has better practicability and may be worth popularization. Finally, the paper puts forward some improvement suggestions for the distributed system.
