Abstract:Study on the key parameters of power inductor helps in the understanding of its application range, reducing the volume and weight of the power supply device and improving the efficiency of power supply. At present, the key parameters of power inductor are done by manual measurement in industrial application that is complex and time-consuming. This design is a set of automatic measuring device for the key parameters of power inductor based on the PIC16F877A micro-controller. The use of PID algorithm to control the output current of programmable DC source can make the temperature rise in the benchmark value and get temperature-rise current. Meanwhile, the sampling unit can get real-time voltage and current values of power inductor to calculate the DC resistance and DC losses. The device has the advantages of simple circuit, high measuring accuracy and wide range of measurement. It has the good human-computer interface that can automatically record and store measurement data.
