Abstract:Synchronous sampling issue at both ends of fiber optic current differential protection is one of the key technologies to achieve differential protection. In order to solve this problem, the Beidou satellite timing technology is introduced into the optical fiber differential protection. In this paper, and the traditional way of precise time synchronization based on Big Dipper sampling conducted comparative way synchronous sampling. The design idea and principle of realization of key based on the Beidou synchronous sampling scheme of intelligent protection device are described in detail, at the same time put forward can use compass signal improvement to the conventional synchronous mode; the results confirmed the correctness and feasibility of the proposed synchronous sampling scheme and Realization of current differential protection using the compass.
