Abstract：Power distribution system of civil buildings the rationality of the civil building electrical equipment investment, operation and management, design of power distribution system in civil buildings to comprehensive consideration to ensure people safety, reliability, advanced technology and actual operation of the economy factors. In this paper, we introduce the our country civil building distribution system common connection mode and commonly used reactive power compensation technology principle, and points out that the reactive power compensation device is effectively improve power efficiency is the main way, to prove the practice and application of engineering and packet assembly/compensation capacitor can used in the power distribution system of civil buildings, with good prospects of application and development.
