Abstract:This paper established the model of Departure from Nucleate Boiling (DNB). The impact of the primary coolant temperature on departure from nucleate boiling was analyzed. Over-temperature, over power protection ΔT trigger class 1E instrumentation and control system (class 1E I&C) to perform scram to avoid DNB. Then the drive signal and control logic were studied.
