Abstract：This paper Introduced the basic principle of measurement on dc resistance of power transformer winding. Low voltage winding DC resistance measuring test is time consuming in the processing of 500kV main Transformer preventive test. This phenomenon is analyzed in theory, and verified by three methods, there are high voltage winding short circuit and grounding method, high voltage winding open circuit method, and saturable magnetic circuit method. This thesis concluded the most effective method to reduce the time consuming in this test.
