Abstract：The field installation of outdoor high-voltage disconnectors is an important part during substation new construction, reconstruction or extension project, involving rated voltages of 110kV and above. And the localization of its operating mechanism installment is difficult, time-consuming and unsafe. The purpose of this paper is to review the globe status of operating mechanism install equipment, explore the factors affecting the operating mechanism installation, refine academic and engineering problems, and propose ideas for future research and development. Meanwhile, suggestions for further research are proposed form the author’s point of view, offering reference for readers.
