Abstract:In this paper, based on longitudinal impedance derived utilizing a double-ended electrical fault distance measurement is calculated in the derivation of, analyzes the impact of decoupling on the fault location, the analysis showed that the decoupling of the deduced the fault has little effect on the distance formula. Then use EMTP sandbar on 750kV transmission line to Hamilton for the simulation analysis set different ground fault, the current and voltage parameters obtained from the simulation using this article derived formula to calculate the distance to the fault distance and set the fault compared to the comparison results validated this article derivation of fault distance calculation formula has influence and is not the fault type high accuracy, but also the impact of the transition resistance simulation analysis to derive a formula for this article, the simulation results show that almost does not affect the transition resistance formulas derived in this article, verify the validity of the derived formulas and practicality.
