Abstract：With the implementation of strengthening people's awareness of environmental protection and return grass after returning farmland to forest policy, the number of birds has also increased, also causing transmission line failures involving birds is increasing. To reduce the transmission line failure in the study of birds involved, it is being taken more bird tailgate umbrella group, bird thorn, insulated jacket and intelligent bird and other various anti-bird measures against these anti-bird measures on only through the theoretical research, for field installation options and how to meet the few studies, resulting in many places, although the comprehensive anti-bird measures taken, but there are cases of failure involving birds. By analyzing the causes of different anti-bird measures fail, come in only when prevention larger body of birds, can only use anti-bird thorn bird thorn shelter but scope should meet the requirements of anti-bird; in the use of anti-bird baffle, bird baffles inclined not tilt direction along the wire. If taken in addition to other outside bird thorn bird measures, other anti-bird measures must be combined with anti-bird thorn bird use in order to achieve comprehensive results.
