Abstract:According to the impact on power quality of power grid by mill industry load, a scheme of dynamic reactive power compensation and harmonic elimination is proposed in this paper. The thyristor switching is designed in the outer of the delta-circuit and the filter reactor is designed in the inner of the delta-circuit. And the concrete implementation plan is presented combining with the operation condition, which result in the improving of power factor and power quality. Finally the comparison of current operation data with and without compensation is given, verifying the validity of the proposed scheme.
