Abstract:Design the optical field sensor to solve the problem that the traditional electric field sensor in the metal equipment will have an impact on the measured electric field, resulting in decreased measurement accuracy. A model about Pockels effects using crystal micro elements is built with the finite element analysis software Comsol. Describe the mechanisms of Pockels effects from a microscopic point of view and verify the simulation results, and then test the experimental crystal at a frequency of 50Hz and a electric field strength of 0~8×105V/m on the laboratory platform, verifying the simulation results that the outputs and inputs have a good linear relationship. This research work can provide a solid foundation for the further development of optical sensing technology.
