Abstract:Due to the characteristics of easy access, non-pollution, high stability under the non-uniform electric field in N2 gases, using SF6/N2 mixed gas instead of SF6 which has strong greenhouse effecthas gradually become a research hotspot, and it has been applied in some electrical equipment. This paper is based onthe gas dynamics equation, considering the collision of charged particles. According to simulation, the formation process of the arc of SF6/N2 mixed gas and dynamic variation of microscopic electron density are obtained. The influences of components in mixed gases are also analyzed. Besides, from the micro perspective, the discharge process of SF6/N2 gas mixtures can be studied deeply.
