Abstract:In order to facilitate the power grid staff to quickly and easily determine whether the gateway meter on this station area has wiring fault, this paper made theoretical analysis and simulated possible fault in the gateway meter in various situations. These errors include two-phase reversal and three-phase reversal when the line current amplitude of three phases are the same, as well as the line current amplitude of one phase is different from the other phases. The formula of the wrong wattage and power factor angle was worked out in this paper. And the relationship between sizes of wrong wattage and real wattage was found. It is concluded that the wattage measured in the above wiring faults will be obviously reduced when the power grid is in normal operation. Power grid staff can compare the gateway meter data and the user data from the end of the station to quickly confirm whether there is a wiring fault in this station area.
