Design of main shaft sealing system for small hydraulic turbine

The main shaft seal is very important for the turbine, which is a very critical step to ensure the safety of the unit. According to the different nature of the work, the main shaft seal can be divided into working seals and maintenance seals. For working seals, the water seal method is used and the sealed pipeline for water is designed. For the maintenance seals, the gas seal method is used and the sealed pipeline for gas is designed. Meanwhile, the control circuit of the water seal pipeline system and the gas pipeline system are designed in this paper. As a result, the design of main shaft sealing system for small hydraulic turbine can be achieved.
