Abstract:The panorama data is collected by car platform using GPS, INS(Inertial Navigation System) and panoramic camera at the present stage. There are the following drawbacks by using this mode: Once the car platform fails, panoramic data collection will be forced to stop. The storage maintenance and maintenance of the car platform increases the cost. Panorama data can not be collected in the place that the car platform can not enter, such as narrow streets, alley, hotel and museum. To make up for these shortcomings, the single knapsack panorama technology in transmission line inspection will be researched in this article. The single knapsack panorama device consisting of a slave system, an energy system, a mission load device, a communication system and PDA can be used in transmission line inspection, and the detection of defects, automatic alarms and automatic statistics can be achieved.
