Abstract:This paper summarizes the influence of plateau climatic conditions on the performance of molded case circuit breakers, and analyzes the structure of the molded case circuit breaker and the principle of thermal tripping. Through national testing center of plateau electric experiment platform for different vendors. A, B, C three kinds of used in circuit breaker distribution system for heat tripping experiment test, through the acquisition of molded case circuit breaker three ports, such as temperature, the tripping time data, the tripping time of discrete degree analysis, judge the stability of three kinds of circuit breaker in the high altitude environment, the design of the electric equipment for plateau provide certain reference and selection.
