Abstract:The electronic current transformer is the upgrading product of the electromagnetic current transformer. At present, the research of low power electronic current transformer based on electromagnetic energy harvesting technology is mainly focused on solving the problem of the dead zone of small current and anti-saturation of large current, and not enough research on the reliability and stability of the measurement under the electromagnetic energy acquisition mode. In this paper, a low power electronic current transformer, which is powered by electromagnetic energy harvesting and battery, is designed, which converts a measured current signal into a FT3 message format through a single chip computer and CPLD, and transmits directly to the station control layer through the optical fiber. The prototype has 0.1S class accuracy and power consumption is only 41mW. It has passed the national test and is now testing running on the power grid.
