Harmonic evaluation based on measured data from point of common coupling

Abstract:The variation law of power and characteristic harmonics of the PV inverter is analyzed through the real-time data of the power quality by monitoring a 10kV photovoltaic grid-connected point in a substation. Basing on the analysis, the simulation model of the photovoltaic grid-connected system is established by DIGSILENT. Consequently, the harmonic distribution of a station was calculated under a variety of working conditions of photovoltaic power system. And the evaluation results of the future harmonic distribution of the substation are developed, which could be the references of power quality monitoring and harmonic control work.
