Abstract：As the key equipment of HVDC transmission system, dc wall bushing has long been dependent on imports, which is of great significance to its research. Based on GB/T 26218.3—2011 "Selection and dimensioning of high-voltage insulators in-tended for use in polluted conditions Part 3: Composite insulators for a.c. systems" and "The equipment development specification of ±1100kV UHVDC transmission project-converter wall bushing". We investigated the umbrella the structural type and design specification of umbrella skirt of the Changji—Guquan ±1100kV UHVDC transmission project. Ac-cording to the research results, the structure and parameters of the umbrella skirt with outdoor DC SF6 wall bushing for the Changji—Guquan ±1100kV UHVDC transmission project. It has an important guiding role for the development of ±1100kV DC SF6 wall bushing and can also provide reference for other related projects.
