Abstract:Rail transit, as a mass transit public passenger transport, has a convenient and fast feature that makes it a prime choice for passengers. However, due to the early construction of some subway stations, the old facilities, coupled with the ever-increasing passenger traffic, have revealed that the layout of the subway ticketing facilities has been unable to meet the existing passenger flow requirements. Therefore, the author conducts research on the existing ticket inspection facilities, and formulates the investigation and research method based on the population flow density and passenger travel time. According to the different types of passenger flow in the station, the layout and setting of the gates and ticket vending machines inside the subway are optimized to match the passenger flow characteristics to meet the short, medium and long-term passenger flow requirements. Finally, the Xiaolingwei subway station is taken as an example to propose an optimal layout scheme, and the optimization scheme is evaluated by Anylogic software simulation.
