Abstract：Environmental protection gas insulation is one of the development trends of the ring main unit. This paper introduces the environmental protection gas insulation ring main units with two arrangements, using the dry air as the insulating medium, and designs them. Through the optimization of the related performance, insulation performance is improved, which can meet the test requirements and reach a certain margin.
