Abstract:In order to improve the users’ profound understanding of air-cooled and water-cooled static frequency converter (SFC), this paper provides SFC design schemes of two cooling modes. By constructing the power output models of pulse commutation stage and load commutation stage, this paper analyzes the relevant parameters affecting the power factor and compares the power output capacity of SFC under the same capacity. In addition, the comparative study is carried out from the aspects of efficiency level, reliability and operation and maintenance, so as to provide a comprehensive reference for the selection of SFC cooling mode.
