Abstract:The frequency modulation task of the domestic power system is mainly undertaken by the generator unit, but there are problems of slow response speed and low control accuracy. Therefore, this paper introduces a kind of combined frequency modulation technology with supercapacitor as energy storage. First, the working characteristics of supercapacitors and lithium batteries are compared and analyzed. Then, the scheme of supercapacitor access to the power supply system is given, and its electrical impact is analyzed. Finally, the theoretical analysis of this paper is verified with a 600WM frequency modulation project. Research and analysis results show that supercapacitors have better performance in safety and cycle life and are more suitable for auxiliary frequency modulation of thermal power units. After the energy storage system is connected, it has no influence on the configuration of high power transformer capacity, power relay protection and control, electrical check and power quality, etc. The research conclusion has guiding significance for promoting the application of fire storage combined frequency modulation engineering.
