Reactive Power Compensation Control Strategy of Substation Based on MCR

Abstract:An optimization control strategy is proposed considering the voltage and reactive power compensation of the substation. The low side voltage of the transform is chosen as the distinguished point. The reactive power control modes are divided into reactive power optimization control mode, low voltage urgent control mode and high voltage urgent control mode. MCR and FC are controlled as a whole by a double-closed PI control system based on IRPT. The voltage fluctuation of the system and the reactive power optimization are simulated as well as analyzed . The results show the control strategy is accurate and effective.
