Abstract：This paper briefly introduces the application case of high voltage frequency drive serving at the China Petro Tai’an gas compressing station. Process character for compressing station, structure of VSDs, optimization design in multiple-level technology, and critical difficulty in high power variable frequency drive are stated. The characteristic of high power variable frequency drive has been proved by on-site commissioning data and effect.
