Abstract:Aiming at the demand for fast voltage sag detection in DVR, this paper proposes a novel rapid voltage sag detection arithmetic which based on dq transformation. The principle of proposed detection method is different with traditional method in fundamental wave separation and the way to construct the virtual three-phase voltage when it used on single-phase voltage sag detection. The proposed detection algorithm can eliminate the time delay of low pass filter in traditional fundamental wave separation algorithm, which has better synchronism when construct three-phase voltage in the single-phase voltage sag detection. This paper gives analysis on the principles that how to construct three-phase voltage and separate the fundamental wave from the detection voltage, it also take the harmonic which generated with the voltage sag into consideration. Finally the validity of the proposed algorithm is verified by the simulation results.
