Abstract：As an important component of transformer, bushing shell rarely a worry in daily operation. But, once a fault, there will be a serious impact on the normal operation of the transformer.There have rarely opportunity to find the fault during the operaion. Detection of internal operating environment can just get a chance during the blackout. It is the key research direction of bushings how to detect internal defects since oil test do not belong to the routine test. In this paper, chromatogram of a 110kV transformer bushings serious exceed the standard is analysed. The reason for this phenomenon is studied.
