Abstract The paper presents a Evaluating Model of affiliation degree and set-pair state for the variety and uncertainty of state parameters, combining Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process(FAHP), evaluating on the condition of the transformer from the aspects of electrical test, parameter of oil characteristic, state parameter of dissolved gases in oil. Adopting the FAHP to confirm the weight distribution of every index, makes consistency checking convenient and straightforward. Based on fuzzy degree of connection, a new method was proposed to determine the discrepancy coefficient in Set Pair Analysis. Using this method, the discrepancy coefficient i should be analyzed in discrepant, identical and contrary aspects. Then, the case analysis and the results comparison were taken to verify the validity and feasibility of the proposed method.
