Application of Hopfield Neural Network in Single-Phase Circuit Harmonic Current Detection |

Abstract To avoid some shortcomings of harmonic current detection methods,such as calculation of large and real-time response. In order to meet the demand of detecting harmonic and reactive current of APF in single-phase circuits, a new detecting method for harmonics and reactive current in single-phase circuit is proposed, based on the Hopfield neural network. The network has an energy function which increase the computer power, it can process the real-time data and preliminary training was not needed. Compared with traditional detection methods, this methods can accurately and fast detect harmonic current and have small amount of calculation. Simulation results based on Matlab/Simulink testify the real-timing and detection accuracy. So the methods can be used as the harmonic current detection of single-phase APF.
