Effective Methods of Reducing the Cogging Torque of the Flux Reversal Machine

Abstract  The cogging torque of the magnetic flux reversal machine is relatively large because of its inherent structure. In this paper, extant methods of weakening the cogging torque will be analyzed and summarized on the basis of the analyses of its generating principles and its calculating methods, finally several efficient methods for reducing the cogging torque will be found out for purpose of the practical application and the further study of this technology.
