Overview of Equivalence Study on XLPE Cable on-site Testing |

Abstract At prezent, the three main methods for XLPE cables on-site testing are dc withstand test, very low frequency test and damped alternating voltage test. The characteristics of the various methods are discussed and an overview of the development of the equivalence of these methods is presented. Finally, in terms of the practical problems, the content and method for further study were proposed based on the achievements of the previous study.
