Abstract The temperature monitor system programmed by VB language running on the host computer is designed in the paper. With the RS-232 serial communication, the host receives the temperature value sent by the slave computer, displays the data, and calculates control parameters according to the temperature set point, after that, sends the parameters to the slave for the control. With the good user interface, good generality, and simple operation, the temperature control system is easy to be implemented to realize the integrated monitor and management.
